Today I paid for the Starbucks order of the car behind me in line--and gave the barista the kindness card to give to the driver:)
ReplyDeleteToday, we sent a letter and a picture Taylee colored to a nursing home to give to a patient who needs a little joy!
ReplyDeleteToday I made a donation to the SPCA of Northern Nevada for Weston.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I was removing concrete from the backyard out front to a trailer for disposal, when Daymian one of the children Dana watches came out without being asked and started helping. He got some black gloves out of the glove basket so he could match mine. He was a big helper. He knows Taylee but doesn't remember Weston, however he is a good boy and it was a special moment for me. I gave him a card and explained why it was important to me. He put his card in his lunchbox and is going to give it to his dad.
ReplyDeleteTook Taylee to get her haircut and paid for the little boy's haircut next to us too!
ReplyDeleteOn Friday I paid for a lady's small amount of groceries behind me in line. I had the clerk give her the card and left $15 to pay for her items. As I glanced back, the gal in line was looking at Weston's card. I do hope she passed it along or went on-line to see your story.
ReplyDeleteI bought two bouquets of flowers and took them to the local senior citizen home.
ReplyDeleteI left lunch money for our sanitation worker with Weston's card.
ReplyDeleteI took flowers to my Aunt and a friend.
ReplyDeleteI gave an employee at Mc Donald's a five dollar tip with Weston's card as he was a very enthusiastic employee in his position.
ReplyDeleteToday I paid for the lady's latte behind me in the line at Coffee on Main in Gardnerville, Nv. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteLast evening I saw a homeless man asleep near my salon, in between a couple of the buildings towards the upper parking area, and could only offer him a cup of cold water that I retrieved for him at my work. Feeling badly that I couldn't do more for him at the time and seeing him curled up in the fetal position on hard concrete was enough inspiration for me to come up with an idea for a Random Act of
ReplyDeleteKindness in Weston's memory. I went home and grabbed a Cliff bar from my kitchen cabinet and took off to locate a sleeping bag and pillow. I placed one of Weston's cards in the sleeping bag package and took a photo just before I drove back to give the stuff to the homeless man. He gladly accepted my offerings.
I was given a little gift bag of personal items like nail polish etc. with a little burlap heart and one of Weston's cards. I finally paid it forward by paying for the car behind, when in line at Starbucks and gave the card to the barista to give to the people. I knew it would make me feel good, but I wasn't prepared for how good it made me feel. Thank you, Weston for brightening my days.
ReplyDeleteWe paid for the meal of a lady behind us in the drive thru. Nothing makes me feel happier than to do something kind!
